We reserve the right to accept or withdraw students at our discretion, ensuring decisions are made based on a student’s engagement and preparation for lessons.

We aim to assist children in acquiring self-discipline through firm, clear guidelines, encouraging them to take increasing responsibility for their learning outcomes.
Diligence in Practice: Students are expected to be diligent in their home practice and dedicated to their studies.
Attendance and Punctuality: Regular and punctual attendance at lessons is crucial. Students must remain engaged throughout their lessons.
Cooperation with Instructors: Full cooperation with instructors is essential. Students are expected to embrace the educational programs and instructions provided.
Formal music lessons are a collaborative process that involve support and engagement from parents, students and teachers.
Students are expected to actively attend lessons and be punctual for their lessons.
Parents are expected to be engaged in the learning process and are invited to sit and observe any lessons in order to provide ample support for home practice.
Parents who choose not to observe and sit outside of the lesson should be available for discussions on progress and updates.
Students are not to be left unattended in the lobby. Parents and guardians are responsible for their child in the waiting area at all times outside of their private lesson.
Registration Policies:
Students are required to provide a minimum of 4 weeks’ notice when withdrawing from lessons.
Make-up Lessons:
In the event of a student's class or private lesson absence, the instructor is not obligated to provide a makeup session and the lesson is considered a missed lesson
Lesson time is transferable to an immediate family member. Additionally, with a 24-hour advance notice, we offer the option of an online lesson.
Should a student notify their teacher of their absence with reasonable notice, the teacher may explore arranging a makeup, depending on the availability of studio space and instructors.
Crescendo Kids:
Cancellation:
A full refund will be granted if a withdrawal notice is received one week prior to lessons starting.
Once lessons have commenced, no refunds will be issued.
Make-up Classes:
Crescendo Kids students missing scheduled lessons have the opportunity to join another class, contingent upon class size and availability.
Sick Policy
As with all programs, Crescendo Kids Students are kindly requested to stay home when feeling unwell in order to keep our young students healthy.

Private lessons, when given enough notice, can seamlessly transition to an online format. Teachers must receive minimum 24 hours notice in order to have advanced notice to bring teaching devices to their lessons.
Similar to our general makeup policy, in the case of a student's illness-related absence, students have the option to transfer their designated lesson time to an immediate family member to attend in their place. The lesson can also be attended in an online format, with 24 hours' notice to their teacher. Any offer of a makeup lesson is done solely at the teacher's discretion, subject to studio space and instructor availability.
Summer Lessons:
All lessons must be completed in the month of July and August
Summer lessons can be scheduled based on preference and availability at the time of registration in order to accommodate flexible scheduling and holidays.
Once the schedule has been assigned, the standard student-absence and make-up policy applies. Further rescheduled lessons are at the discretion of your instructor.
Summer lesson packages are entitled to a full refund less $50 administrative fee can be provided if a withdrawal notice is provided no later than June 15th.
