Group Programs


We are pleased at Morin Music Studio to also offer a variety of group programs throughout the year to supplement private lessons and bring our students together.

Crescendo Kids Suzuki Music Program

Crescendo Kids Suzuki Music Program (Ages 0-5)

The Crescendo Kids program is Morin Music Studio’s Early Childhood Music program for students ages 0-5 years. Rooted in the philosophy of Dr. Shinichi Suzuki, students gain confidence by experiencing the natural joy and fun of music-making while also gaining knowledge and develop skills in their musical education. Children learn alongside their parents or guardians in this interactive and well-established program.

Group Beginner Violin
(Ages 6-10year)

No experience necessary for this introductory beginner class. Students learn the fundamentals of violin in an interactive and direct way, including healthy posture, tone production, rhythm and reading. Parent observation in class is recommended to support home practice required to in the class to support.

Group Beginner Guitar
(Ages 6-10year)

No experience necessary for this introductory beginner class. Students learn to strum a wide variety of chord and build confidence performing and making music with others. Students learn popular melodies, and develop note and rhythm readingfor guitar.

Adult Group Guitar (Beginner Songbook)

A group class for adults to learn to play guitar! Build confidence playing a wide variety of popular songs while building a strong foundation of chord knowledge. Learn in a fun class setting, in an environment of constant support. No previous experience necessary.


Choral Programs

Junior Choir (Ages 5-7yrs)
Student Choir (Ages 8-12yrs)

The Morin Choir Program provides students with a creative and challenging opportunity to enrich their lives through music. Students receive coaching and work alongside their director and collaborative pianist in an environment of constant support to develop musicality and expression. No previous experience or vocal training necessary.

Tutti String Ensemble

The Tutti String Ensemble is for string students of all levels currently in private lessons who would like to augment their training and performance ability. Students enjoy bi-weekly coaching and performance preparation as well as community and formal performances as a large group.

Chamber Ensemble

Trios, quartets and duos! The Chamber Ensemble program provides a fun opportunity for students currently in private lessons to experience making music with a group. Students are assigned a chamber group then receive ongoing coaching before having opportunity to perform.


Performance Programs

Performance Enrichment Program

For goal-oriented Students who are ready to augment their private lessons to take their performance ability to the next level. Students will have opportunity to perform and receive feedback from various faculty members throughout the school year, and gain invaluable performance opportunity and preparation for examinations or competitions. Students will have opportunity to work with collaborative accompanist and receive coaching.

Adult Songbook Guitar

A group class for adults to learn to play guitar! Build confidence playing a wide variety of popular songs while building a strong foundation of chord knowledge. Learn in a fun class setting, in an environment of constant support. No previous experience necessary.

Adult Performance Program

Specifically for adult students in instrumental lessons, this performance program provides a supportive environment of like-minded adults students learning music. Participants gain performance experience, receive coaching from faculty and develop their listening skills. This program results in a year-end performance and event specifically for our adult students
