Morin Music Studio offers two payment options for tuition fee payments, along with various methods of payment. Please review the available options and payment methods below to select the one that best suits your family.
One-time full payment due at the time of registration. Available with either e-transfer or credit card payment (credit card subject to 3% transaction fee).
Single payment waives the annual registration fee.
Ten equal instalment payments withdrawn on the 1st of each month between September 2025 and June 2026. Available through CAFT auto-withdrawal only.
Annual registration fee is due at the time of registration to reserve your lesson slot.
We welcome new students throughout the school year, based on instructor availability. If you’re joining after the school year has begun, your tuition will be prorated according to the number of remaining lessons in the studio calendar. This ensures that your billing or instalment plan remains balanced with the rest of the academic year.
Please note that mid-year enrollment is subject to available lesson times with our faculty. Early inquiry is encouraged, as many schedules fill quickly.
Our programs are designed to provide consistent, long-term learning experiences that support each student’s growth over the course of the academic year. When enrolling, students commit to private lessons through the end of the school year, or to group programs through the end of the current term, as applicable.
If circumstances require a student to withdraw from private lessons early, a minimum of 8 weeks’ written notice is required. In lieu of notice, 8 weeks of lesson fees must be paid. A $50 administrative fee will be applied to all early withdrawals.
To support consistent progress, students will need their own instrument and materials for their home practice and lesson preparation. These supplemental costs are not included in tuition and vary depending on the student’s instrument and level.
Required items include:
An instrument for home practice
Required esson books and sheet music
Practice accessories (such as metronomes, footstools, or tuners)
All students are required to have their own instrument at home for regular practice. Instruments may be rented or purchased through one of our trusted local providers. Your instructor will provide a list of recommended materials at the start of the year or as needed throughout the term.
Student recitals and performance opportunities are included in tuition, and there are no additional fees or ticket costs for these events. We strongly encourage families to invite friends and extended family to attend — a supportive audience helps create a meaningful and rewarding performance experience for our students.
For students of orchestral instruments or voice, accompanist fees apply when performing with a live pianist. These fees are coordinated directly through your instructor and will vary depending on the nature of the performance and rehearsal requirements.
Tuition receipts can be accessed at any time through your student portal. If you require an official copy or are unable to access your account, you may also request a receipt by contacting our administrative team at admin@morinmusic.ca.
