Restriction Exemption Program

Hello to our valued students, families and teachers.

Throughout the pandemic, we are thankful to have had no cases, transmissions or infections in our space. We thank everyone for all of their continued effort and caution in order to keep our students, teachers and community safe.

As we have throughout the pandemic, we continue to:

• Operate under one-third capacity
• Offer only private instruction in our facility
• Not offer group instruction, offering private lessons only
• Continue mask requirements for all students and teachers
• Ensure all covid screening protocols are in place
• Continue distancing and disinfecting measures

Update: With the most recent restrictions, effective September 20th we will be continuing to operate at this reduced capacity. We will also add a two-metre physical distancing requirement between households in private lessons for all those 12 years and older.

We are eligible to implement Restriction Exemption in our facility that applies to Albertans aged 12 and older.

Effective September 20, 2021 students and teachers can continue instruction without the updated two-meter restriction if they submit one of the following:

✓ Proof of vaccination

• • • partial vaccination (one dose) accepted September 20–October 25
    • full vaccination (two doses) after October 25

✓ Proof of a privately paid negative PCR or Rapid test within 72 hours of your visit

✓ Documentation of a medical exemption

Vaccination or medical exemptions will be required to be submitted only once for us to make a note on your file. Negative PCR tests are to be submitted within 72 hours of any appointment through this form.

All other safety measures such as masking, reduced capacity, and disinfecting will also remain in place for those who are exempt from the two-meter distance requirement.

The health and safety of our students, teachers and community remains our top priority.

Throughout the pandemic Morin Music Studio has provided a safe place to learn and create music.

During this time we have not had any Covid-19 transmission of any kind in our facility as we continually follow the updated guidelines as they are implemented by the Government of Alberta, and Alberta Health Services.
